Your music stays with you. Here’s how the Isotropitch iPhone app and isotropitch.com handle your information.

1. Microphone and audio
Isotropitch asks for microphone permission when you choose to start tuning. Live audio samples are analysed on your iPhone to identify pitch and show tuning guidance. Audio is never saved as a recording, uploaded, or sent to us or another service.
You can stop listening in the app. Capture also stops when the app goes into the background. You can revoke microphone access at any time in your iPhone’s Settings under Privacy & Security → Microphone.
2. Preferences on your device
The app saves your instrument, tuning, reference pitch, appearance and haptic preferences locally on your device. These settings help the app remember your setup; we do not receive them. Device backups may include app preferences according to your Apple backup settings.
3. Accounts, tracking and sharing
The app does not require an account and contains no advertising, third-party analytics or tracking SDKs. We do not collect your tuning activity or audio, and we do not sell personal information or share it for advertising.
4. This website and Cloudflare
This website has no sign-up forms, advertising or analytics scripts. Our website code does not set cookies or store information in your browser.
Cloudflare hosts and secures the website. When you visit, Cloudflare may process technical request information, such as your IP address, browser information, requested page and request time, to deliver the site, protect it from abuse and diagnose problems. Some requests may appear in hosting diagnostics. This is separate from the app’s audio processing.
Hosting information may be processed in countries outside your own. Cloudflare’s handling and retention of service data is described in its privacy policy. We use hosting diagnostics only to operate and protect the site.
5. Contacting us
If you email privacy@crockatoo.studio, we receive your email address and the information you choose to send. We use this to respond to your enquiry and keep correspondence only as long as needed to handle the request and meet applicable legal obligations. Please do not include sensitive information or audio recordings unless needed for your enquiry.
6. Your choices
You can revoke microphone permission, change your saved preferences, or remove the app and its local data. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct or delete personal information in correspondence you send us. Contact privacy@crockatoo.studio with a privacy question or request.
7. Changes to this policy
If the app or website changes in a way that affects this policy, we will update this page and its date. This policy describes the app’s current design and the website as published.
